Visual Studio - Missing Item Template

If you are missing templates, these could help (try one of these):

1) Open the Options window in Visual Studio.
Select Projects and Solutions.
Change the Visual Studio user item template location (Path .... \Documents and Settings\WINDOWSUSER\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ItemTemplates)
to the folder where the standard templates are located ( C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\IDE\ItemTemplates ).



After the change, all templates will be accesible.

2) Open a new ‘Visual Studio 2005 Command Prompt’.  Once there type the following command at the prompt, press enter and wait…

devenv /installvstemplates

This will rebuild your item and project template cache.

3) Install "VS80-KB915364-X86-ENU.exe" and then install "WebApplicationProjectSetup.msi"
